About this event

Preserve your Ozark history in Elkins! Join the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History at the Elkins Senior Activity and Wellness Center from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 4 , to help digitize and safeguard our community’s history and culture. Bring your photos, letters, documents, and family stories—our team will scan your items on-site so you can preserve them for generations to come. You keep all physical originals along with a free digital copy, and with your permission, copies will be added to the Shiloh Museum archives.

Historian Rachel Whitaker will kick off the event with an opening talk: “Strictly Speakin’: Ozark Accents, Sayin’s and Expressions.”
