  • Fayetteville Farmers’ Market will run indoors at Fayetteville Senior Activity and Wellness Center (945 S. College Ave) starting Saturday, Jan. 3, offering fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and artisan crafts and will operate each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through March 14.  Fayetteville Flyer

BUSINESS NEWS

  • A new Mediterranean restaurant called Kebab Bowl will open soon at 420 W. Dickson Street (the former Buster Belly’s) as work continues inside the building, with a completed kitchen and plans to serve kabobs, wraps, and a late-night dining experience.  Fayetteville Flyer

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Fayetteville will collect live Christmas trees through January at no charge, and residents can leave trees free of plastic, decorations, and lights by the curb on trash day or drop them off at 1708 S. Armstrong Ave (open Tues and Thurs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on the first Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Jan. 3).  Fayetteville Flyer

LIFESTYLE NEWS

  • Arkansas Times publisher Alan Leveritt, a 40-year farmer, will sell rabbit meat for the first time at Hillcrest Farmers Market tomorrow. He processed 17 young rabbits now and will bring in 14 more in two weeks for holiday sales * showing his blend of traditional farming with local culinary needs.  Arkansas Times
