- ➤ Sweetgreen will open its second Arkansas location today at 10:30 a.m. at 417 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in South Yard. The restaurant will partner with the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank to donate a meal for every meal sold. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ The renovated Porter Art Warehouse will host its first signature exhibition featuring Harold Keller’s work from Jan. 15 to March 8 with a free public reception scheduled for Jan. 18 at 6-8 p.m. at the Alexander Gallery (212 N. West Ave.). Fayetteville Flyer

- ➤ The University of Arkansas is hosting a 14-day writing challenge for faculty and postdocs from Feb. 2 to Feb. 15 on campus. Participants must commit to writing for at least 30 minutes daily and register by Jan. 25. University of Arkansas
- ➤ Enrollment is open for Spanish for Heritage Speakers courses to build on home language skills for academic and career success. Classes meet MWF at 8:35 a.m. or TTH at 3:30 p.m., and eligible students can take a Fast Track Exam (up to six credits) to shorten degree completion. University of Arkansas
