GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Fayetteville voters will decide on a 60.9 million bond measure to build an indoor aquatic facility at the Lewis Soccer Complex (voting Tuesday through March 3). Supporters say the project will provide a needed recreation space while others express concern about reducing park space.  Fayetteville Flyer

HEALTH NEWS

  • On Feb. 2 and Feb. 3, Washington County inspectors reviewed food establishments in Fayetteville and Springdale and found violations in handwashing, food storage, and temperature controls that may risk foodborne illness.
