- ➤ U of A alumna Leah Glover Hales has committed $500,000 to the Land of Opportunity Scholarship to help high-need students cover college expenses and access mentoring, coaching, and career support. - ➤ Global Campus presented the Lightbulb Award for Innovation to the team behind its new online graduate orientation for master’s and doctoral students. - ➤ U of A researcher Kristian Forbes joined international partners in the ZOOSURY project to study how Egyptian fruit bats transmitted diseases in Africa.
