- ➤ Francesca’s, a popular retail chain with a Fayetteville outlet, filed for Chapter 11 on Feb. 6 and will soon close all 457 of its stores nationwide, with going-out-of-business sales offering discounts up to 50%. - ➤ Market, Set, Go! is an online game that teaches food safety by letting players build a farmers market empire (developed with a $550,000 USDA grant) and was launched Feb. 4 to help vendors learn safe practices. University of Arkansas
- ➤ The Associated Student Government announced that the Faculty Applause Award nomination form is now open for students to recognize professors who have made a meaningful impact on their academic experience — nominations are accepted until March 13 and honorees will be celebrated at the Awards Banquet in April.
