- ➤ The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market will return on March 22 with two Spring Fling sessions before opening weekly Saturday markets on April 5 on the downtown square – an indoor market is scheduled on March 15 at the Senior Activity and Wellness Center. - ➤ A circuit judge ruled that David Tyler, owner of Tyler Pools and Construction, must pay over $180,000 in restitution, penalties and court costs after he misled customers about his licensing and insurance and left multiple pool projects unfinished — he also threatened clients. - ➤ Students from the U of A System can apply for mini-grants of up to $1,000 to cover costs like technology, travel or books in honor of Clinton School dean emeritus James L. "Skip" Rutherford III—applications must include a proposal letter, resume and recommendation letter and be submitted by March 28, 2025. University of Arkansas

- ➤ XNA hosted a 90‐minute emergency drill that simulated a plane crash to test response with about 80 student volunteers and over 20 emergency agencies—officials said the exercise meets FAA rules. Officials plan to hold more drills in the future to better prepare first responders. 4029 News
- ➤ The Arkansas National Guard broke ground Thursday on a more than $14 million readiness center at Fort Chaffee that will offer 37,000 feet of training space and serve as the new headquarters for the 142nd Field Artillery Brigade now in Fayetteville—officials say the center will help train troops and move equipment more easily. 4029 News
