- ➤ Fayetteville’s Strawberry Festival returns to Downtown Square on May 17 from noon to 6 p.m with music, vendors, competitions; a Honky Tonk Street Dance is planned on May 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. Muriel Fahrion will sell memorabilia, and tickets (at $20) are available for an ice cream social. - ➤ An exhibit at Mullins Library displays rare items honoring poet Frank Stanford’s legacy through May 15. An overnight marathon reading begins at 6 p.m. on April 3 at 1158 Crestwood Dr + will conclude with a moment of silence at the site where Stanford died. University of Arkansas

- ➤ The School of Art accepts free applications for its Arkansas Art Educator ArtLab for art teachers, offering sessions that run June 24-26 at Crystal Bridges in Bentonville and July 8-10 and July 15-17 at the U of A campus (applications are open until April 17). University of Arkansas
- ➤ The College of Education and Health Professions hosted the 18th Annual English as a Second Language Symposium on campus, gathering educators, students and faculty for in-person learning after six years online.
