- ➤ Fayetteville will host Tree Week from April 19 to 26 to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day with daily events organized by the Urban Forestry Division. The schedule includes a tree giveaway at the Farmers’ Market, a children’s scavenger hunt at Gulley Park, guided hikes on Earth Day, a tree care class at the Public Library, and a ceremony in Walker Park where Mayor Molly Rawn will unveil a plaque honoring the Amazing Tree of Fayetteville. - ➤ On Friday, April 25, 2025, from 7 to 10 p.m., Amazeum’s UnGala will mark its 10th birthday with a 21+ event that turns an evening into a playful adventure—featuring games and rides that let adults relive childhood fun. - ➤ Fayetteville officials selected artist Jacob 'NTEL' Schell to paint a mural on Nelson Hackett Boulevard with his proposal (Veritate Duce Progredi) that uses local history and symbols to show community unity. The finished work will be unveiled on Juneteenth, June 19, and Schell will receive a $24,000 stipend. Fayetteville Flyer
- ➤ Phantasma, a multi-sensory dance party with a laser light show and silent disco, will return in the Lower Ramble on April 24–25 and then offer a Glow Party experience in the Upper Ramble on April 26. - ➤ Father John Misty will perform at JJ’s Live in Fayetteville this fall (Thursday, Oct. 2) as part of his tour supporting his album Mahashmashana. - ➤ Razorbacks forward Adou Thiero announced Tuesday his plan to enter the NBA Draft and thanked the University of Arkansas and fans for their support. He led the team last season with averages of 15.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists after returning from an eight-game absence due to a knee injury—making him the second Razorback to declare for the draft.
