- ➤ UA Fine Arts Center (75th anniversary) was unveiled on Thursday, April 16 at the UA campus after a $38 million renovation funded partly by the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation. The center now offers flexible spaces with updated technology for art-making. Fayetteville Flyer

- ➤ Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design held its Winter Fest Reception and Alumni Recognition Ceremony on Jan. 30 to honor 13 alumni design projects selected from 62 entries. - ➤ U of A Libraries invite undergraduates to enter a 3D printing contest during Undergraduate Research Week; submissions are accepted from Apr. 13-24 at AR Creation Studios on campus, with Makerspace staff helping prepare the prints. University of Arkansas
- ➤ Faculty and students from U of A's Mathematical Sciences Department represented the university by presenting innovative teaching strategies at two regional conferences. Students can enroll in the Junior High Band Camp (July 5 to 10) or Senior High Band and Junior/Senior Orchestra Camps (July 12 to 17) for focused instruction, ensemble rehearsals and a final performance. - ➤ University of Arkansas students are cutting food waste in campus dining halls by running volunteer-led compost crews and food recovery programs (tracking leftovers to reduce waste and donate extra meals), as part of the university’s zero-waste goal to divert 90% of its waste from landfills by 2040.
