- ➤ U of A alumnus Rip Gresham and his wife Carol donated $100,000 to the Land of Opportunity Scholarship program + the gift will cover fees above tuition so students can study abroad without financial barriers. University of Arkansas
- ➤ Charles Leflar—clinical professor emeritus at Walton College of Business—was honored with the Faculty Gold Medal Award on April 21 at the Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center. - ➤ NWACC celebrated Earth Day 2025 when students in the Trail and Bicycle Technician Programs built the campus's first mountain biking trail—testing different routes to choose the best one. - ➤ Arkansas passed a law on April 16 that bans pharmacy benefit managers from owning pharmacies. Gov. - ➤ On Wednesday night in Fayetteville, the No. 4 Arkansas baseball team beat Arkansas-Little Rock 4-0 in their final midweek home game and improved their home record to 10-1. The Razorbacks now sit at 27-3 and will face Missouri State next Tuesday. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
