- ➤ Experience Fayetteville will expand Restaurant Week from one week to 10 days (July 17 to 26) to boost local food culture. A free marketing workshop for local restaurants is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5 at Fayetteville Town Center. Fayetteville Flyer

- ➤ The School Board approved a $7,049,155 early site package for Ramay Junior High to start site grading and tree work for a 2028-29 opening. A vote on the remaining project package is set for June. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
- ➤ Students who grew up speaking Spanish can enroll in Heritage Spanish courses this fall to build on their language skills; classes include MWF 8:35 a.m. sessions and an online course (SPAN 41203) with an option to fast track credit hours and reduce tuition. University of Arkansas
- ➤ Three dean candidates for the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design will host open forums with Q&A sessions on April 27, 29 and 30 at 3:30 p.m. in Shollmier Auditorium (Vol Walker Hall), and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with recordings accessible online. - ➤ The U of A Children's Choir will host a week-long day camp on campus from June 29 to July 3 for incoming 2nd through 12th graders. - ➤ The U of A is launching a 25-year solar energy initiative (covering 20 power plants) that will generate 2.6 billion kilowatt-hours to cut utility costs and reduce grid reliance in Fayetteville.
