- ➤ Police are looking for a suspect after a robbery at the E-Z Mart on N Leverett Avenue and W Poplar Street in Fayetteville— the robbery happened around 4:09 a.m. Thursday and K–9 units are on the scene with no injuries reported. 4029 News

- ➤ The NW Arkansas Ballet Theatre will present Exposed: A Ballet on the Trail on May 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Fayetteville and on May 9 at 7 p.m. in Eureka Springs, blending ballet with projected photography by Brent Umphlett and a new musical score by Lendell Black to create an emotional journey through nature. - ➤ Graduating senior John Sheely of U of A Biological Engineering will receive his degree on May 10 and start a job at Burns & McDonnell in July after his internship taught him to use ArcGIS Pro — a tool that helped him design improved stormwater systems. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A report shows that tornado detections in Arkansas — where averages rose from 25 per year between 1970 and 1999 to 37 per year between 1991 and 2020 — have raised concerns as violent storms in March and April caused deaths, injuries and building damage. - ➤ The Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission is asking trail users to share ideas for the future of the Razorback Greenway corridor plan, which will improve the 40-mile trail system from Bella Vista to Fayetteville. The survey is available online until the end of May or in person on Saturday during the Square 2 Square Spring bike ride—helping plan land use, housing, sustainability, and development for the next 10 to 15 years. 4029 News
