The Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition is hosting a monthly open mic series for community members to share stories about their experiences with the criminal legal system.

The events will take place at 203 N. College Ave. at 6 p.m. starting this coming Monday and will continue on June 8, July 13, Aug. 10, Sept. 14, Oct. 12, Nov. 9 and Dec. 14.

Residents provided input on plans for College Avenue improvements from Sycamore to Township at City Hall on May 7, and a session for Joyce Boulevard is scheduled at 4 p.m. May 14 as the city prepares for construction next year.
