- ➤ Today, the U of A Staff Senate announced that Fernanda Caero is named Part-Time Employee of the Year and the Bumpers College Student Services team is recognized as Outstanding Team for their strong support of students; awardees will receive certificates, monetary awards, and be honored at a fall reception. - ➤ University of Arkansas alumna Ginny Monk earned the 2026 Pulitzer Prize for local reporting after her investigative series exposed predatory towing practices and spurred state law changes in Connecticut. Raised in Pencil Bluff, she now reports on children's issues and housing at the Connecticut Mirror. University of Arkansas
- ➤ University of Arkansas is accepting Fall '26 applicants for its Lunch Buddy Mentoring Program, which pairs college students with local elementary students for twice-weekly lunchtime visits. - ➤ Fifty-eight 2026 honors graduates were recognized at a reception on April 23 at the Don Tyson Center for Agricultural Sciences.
