- ➤ The U of A announced SWEPCO Foundation will sponsor its Land of Opportunity Scholarship to aid about 100 Pell-eligible students with tuition and housing support via mentorship and internships this fall. - ➤ On Monday, Friends of Arkansas PBS announced donations from the Walton Family Foundation, Tyson Family Foundation, and Schueck Family Foundation that will add $500,000 annually to support PBS programming — the contributions bring the campaign to within $272,188 of the $2.5 million goal needed for next year.
