  • U of A graduating senior Anna Fielder has been awarded the Critical Language Scholarship to study Russian at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek this summer and a Princeton in Asia fellowship to teach English at Narkhoz University in Almaty starting in September.  University of Arkansas
  • Valynda Ewton donated $200,000 to the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at U of A to expand experiential learning and startup programs—reinforcing efforts to boost student entrepreneurship and innovation.   • University of Arkansas and Ziplines Education teamed up to offer online training that gives workforce certificates in essential skills like project management, digital marketing, business analytics and applied AI, combining live lessons with project work+ the courses run 5 to 10 weeks and are designed for busy professionals.  University of Arkansas

  • Young women from across the state attended the Arkansas Civic Leadership Institute on Tuesday after many missed out on Girls State due to counselor deadline issues, and lawmakers Sen.   • Arkansas sports are busy this week as the free 45th UAMS Health Little Rock Open begins at the Rebsamen Tennis Center and Razorbacks softball will face Nebraska at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Oklahoma City — Razorback basketball players must decide on their NBA plan by 11:59 p.m. today.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Arkansas softball seniors embarked on their final road trip for the Women's College World Series Tuesday.   • Arkansas Gymnastics is hosting summer camps for gymnasts ages 7 and up, including the 23rd annual Razorback Gymnastics Camp on the U of A campus from June 19 to 20 and June 20 to 21, plus a camp from July 26 to 28; spots are limited and registration is online.  University of Arkansas
