- ➤ Yesterday, Arkansas native Royle B. Luker, a 17-year-old sailor killed aboard the USS West Virginia at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, was laid to rest with full military honors at New Bethel Cemetery near Plainview. Gov. - ➤ Northwest Arkansas Audio Theater presents 'The Patriot Hour' with a 1940s radio-style production honoring America 250; it includes reenactments and art raffles and will run June 2 (Immanuel Baptist, Springdale), June 4 (First Presbyterian, Rogers) and June 6 (Fayetteville Public Library) for $10 ($0 at the library). - ➤ Former Arkansas football standout Bobby Crockett (83) died Friday at Washington Regional Medical Center after battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer and pneumonia. - ➤ Coach Nolan Richardson, known for his '40 Minutes of Hell' style and 1994 national championship win, left a lasting mark on Arkansas basketball.
