- ➤ An Arkansas State Claims Commission ruling upheld a $2.35M claim for the family of Jacquelyn Lynn Ashcraft, who died in a 2021 crash when a state employee drove a state-owned car. The ruling—issued on Thursday—found the employee was on the job and ordered $851,500 to go to Ashcraft’s estate and $1.5M to her wrongful death beneficiaries, and the department has 20 days to file an appeal.
