- ➤ The Fayetteville School Board approved a guaranteed maximum price of $6,252,353 for the early concrete package at the new Woodland Junior High during a special meeting Wednesday — board leaders said the decision will keep the project on schedule as Nabholz Construction finalizes cost estimates for other project parts. - ➤ East North Street, from North College Avenue to Mission Boulevard, will be closed beginning Tuesday for annual road work that will shut both lanes to through traffic from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local drivers can use other routes as the Transportation Division repairs and overlays the asphalt — work is expected to continue until June 27 and may be delayed by weather.
