- ➤ At Saturday’s game at Arvest Ballpark, fans honored the late Isaiah Arrington, who died in a 2024 house fire that claimed the lives of his sister and mother. His family, friends and coaches partnered with the Naturals to raise funds for a scholarship for Greenwood High School senior Daniel Isaiah Arrington—known as Ike—designed to keep his memory alive. 4029 News

- ➤ Assistant professor Kevin Murach received a $713,000 NIH award that will reduce his teaching load so he can focus on research into how exercise affects tissue aging. - ➤ U of A seeks eight more LB Mentors for the fall service-learning course to pair undergrads with 4th and 5th graders during lunch at local elementary schools.
