- ➤ NWA Pride events force road closures in downtown Fayetteville today. West Avenue is closed from Dickson Street to Spring Street starting at 8 a.m. for the Pride Friday Night Festival and Dickson Street is off from Church Avenue to the Upper Ramble at 7 p.m. for the Pride Trans March, which will last 30 minutes + motorists are urged to use alternate routes. - ➤ Emergency crews responded to a crash on I-49 near Exit 62 southbound today at about 7:13 a.m.—traffic slowed on the right shoulder as injured people were taken for care. 5 News

- ➤ Local author and historian Jerry 'J.B.' Hogan will lead a free walking tour of Wilson Park on June 28 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.—attendees should meet at the interpretive sign near the east end of the swimming pool as Hogan shares how the park grew from a private space in 1906 to Fayetteville’s first park.
