CULTURE NEWS

  • Fayetteville held its 21st annual Pride parade weekend that started on Saturday — more than 40,000 people gathered on Dickson Street for vendors, food, drinks, and music. The event will end today at 12:00 p.m. at Mount Sequoyah Center with the Hi Tea Dance and Pool Party.  5 News
  • The Fayetteville Movement Festival will take place July 4-6 at Mount Sequoyah, featuring dance, yoga and wellness classes led by over 30 local instructors—tickets cost less than $100 if purchased before July 1.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • NetChoice filed a lawsuit in federal court in Fayetteville Friday challenging two new Arkansas laws that limit social media content and let parents of children who killed themselves sue platforms. The suit says the laws are vague and do not offer clear rules for restricting posts—raising concerns over potential civil penalties and content regulation.  4029 News
