- ➤ The City of Fayetteville will replace a waterline at Drake Field at Fayetteville Executive Airport early Thursday, July 24 from midnight to 4 a.m. and a precautionary boil order is in effect for 706 water customers until tests show the water is safe — residents in Greenland, West Fork, and Mount Olive Water Association must boil water for drinking and cooking. - ➤ Fayetteville’s Public Works Fleet Operations was named the No. 1 mid-sized fleet in the nation at the Government Fleet Expo and Conference in Charlotte last month — the division manages over 800 vehicles and ranked 4th among all U.S. public fleets.
