- ➤ The Fayetteville School Board approved an additional $10,157,846 for the Woodland Junior High project to keep it on schedule, with construction underway on Joyce Boulevard and the school set to open for the 2027-28 school year—Board members also approved an AI Visioning Report to guide the district’s future technology policies, with a vote on new AI guidelines expected next month. - ➤ New state rules for Education Freedom Accounts now limit spending to no more than 25% on transportation or extracurricular expenses—updated lists of allowed and ineligible items were released. - ➤ The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science recently hosted its 11th high school workshop on the Mathematics and Computer Science of DNA Nanotechnology—where Northwest Arkansas students learned about computability theory, complexity theory, and DNA design through hands-on projects.
