- ➤ Andrew James McGann, 28, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the double capital murder of a couple on a Devil’s Den hiking trail and is scheduled to appear today before a judge—he will be advised of his charges, have his bond set or denied, and be given a court date. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City officials plan to use a $203,317 matching grant plus city and transit contributions to install new bus shelters at key stops—aiming for at least 17 shelters to be built by Sept. 30th, 2026. City and transit crews will order and install the shelters as part of a plan approved by the City Council with a 4—0 vote. Fayetteville Flyer
