- ➤ Sarah Bond, president of Xbox, joined the Tyson Foods board as an independent director last Thursday and her appointment brought expertise from Microsoft's global gaming business. America's Car-Mart filed its 2025 annual report on Friday to regain Nasdaq compliance, and the Arkansas Index closed at 848.65 — up 6.7 points with ten stocks gaining in daily trading. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City Council approved a resolution on July 15 to set aside up to $450,000 for homelessness help, giving $200,000 to the Housing Authority to pay off federal debt while a $70,000 proposal for The Salvation Army was tabled. Mayor Rawn said she will present a proposal for New Beginnings with up to $165,000 on August 19th to add more support for those in need. Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
