- ➤ Fayetteville Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a business on the 3800 block of North Mall Avenue Thursday evening—he is described as a black male about 5'6" with a stocky build wearing black shorts, a white tank top, white shoes, and carrying an olive green backpack—and he is considered armed and dangerous. 4029 News

- ➤ The Central Arkansas DSA is hosting a free screening of the 2024 documentary Union at Fletcher Library this Saturday at 1 p.m.—the event will include a panel discussion and Q&A with local labor and community organizers. - ➤ The University of Arkansas will reopen the renovated HPER Building on Monday, Aug. 18, just before fall classes begin. The updated 22,000-square-foot facility offers modern equipment, new locker rooms, turf training zones and pool access, and will be reached through two entrances (Stadium Drive and Barnhill Arena) with turnstiles for faster entry.
