- ➤ Pea Ridge police report that Dakota Lewis, 20, is accused of holding his brother Noah Lewis at gunpoint outside a residence on Blair Circle during a verbal disturbance at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night—officers say that family members reported he was intoxicated and are now seeking a warrant for aggravated assault. - ➤ TheatreSquared has opened Season 20 of Ken Ludwig’s 'The Three Musketeers' from Aug. 20 to Sept. 7 at 477 W. Spring St.—Rick Sordelet directs the show with his son Christian Kelly-Sordelet handling the fight choreography while UA theater students join the cast. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Uark’s EMPOWER program will recruit volunteer peer mentors this fall to support students with mild intellectual disabilities by offering roles as academic, social, health and wellness, or career mentors.
