- ➤ Fayetteville will host a Veterans Day parade at 11 a.m. Nov. 8 starting on East Avenue, then turning onto Dickson Street and West Avenue until it ends at Spring Street—immediately after, a free trade show in the Upper Ramble will follow to honor local veterans. - ➤ Fayetteville police said a 9-year-old boy was hit by a pickup on the 700 block of Sunset Drive near Cleveland Street on Saturday afternoon—witnesses gave help but he died after being taken to the hospital. Fayetteville Flyer
