- ➤ Fay Jones School of Architecture students Sydney Winkler and Macy Watson launched a schoolwide food drive from Nov 3–14 to help local families face food insecurity amid federal SNAP cuts. Donations headed to the NWA Food Bank and Fayetteville-based LifeSource International are being accepted at Vol Walker Hall and the Anthony Timberlands Center today. University of Arkansas
- ➤ Adam Bernbach runs Hot Vine Wine Shop with a DIY spirit that shows his passion for local community and creativity. He says the shop reflects his unique style (blending a love for good wine and music) that invites local residents to feel at home. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Emily Suski, the School of Law’s second dean candidate, will hold an open forum for campus members on Nov. 13 at 2:30 p.m. in the E.J. Ball Courtroom—she will share her five-year vision for the school that covers public engagement, business partnerships, and student outcomes while taking questions afterwards. University of Arkansas
- ➤ Houston Kraft, author of Deep Kindness, will deliver a keynote speech at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17 in the Faulkner Arts Center for the U of A One Book One Community campus read and he will hold a book signing afterward. A free author luncheon is scheduled for noon Tuesday, Nov. 18 in rooms 503 and 504 at Arkansas Union with 50 seats available. University of Arkansas
- ➤ The U of A will host International Education Week Nov. 17-21 — a week of events where students and locals can explore different cultures through a student bazaar, research session and game night. - ➤ Veralux, the state’s first dedicated whole-body MRI center, will start seeing patients on Nov. 17 at its new clinic in the Pinnacle Hills area near Rogers — a project backed by local doctors who have invested over $2 million — as part of a drive to offer preventive screening services in the region. - ➤ University Recreation and Wellness at the University of Arkansas is running a survey on student wellness — the 30-minute survey asks simple questions on physical, emotional, and social well-being to guide future support programs and enters participants in a drawing for one of twelve $20 Amazon gift cards before the end of fall semester, with winners notified by email.
