  • Washington County hosted a special adoption event ahead of National Adoption Day next week to raise awareness for 55 children awaiting permanent homes in Washington and Madison Counties. Circuit Judge Diane Warren and local foster parent Cara Gulledge said the event offers hope & urges families and community groups to help reduce the number of children in foster care.  4029 News
  • Fayetteville residents are working with city officials to form a local historic district — a plan to preserve the neighborhood's colorful and unique history — which would include 31 key structures such as stone homes built by Noah Drake.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • The University of Arkansas is hosting a busy recruiting weekend as prospects visit Fayetteville for the final home game against Missouri on Nov. 29. Players like Taylor Schaefer, Jaden Bayonne, and Domata Peko Jr. plan official visits, with Schaefer having received a scholarship offer.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • On Saturday, the Arkansas football team lost 23-22 to the LSU Tigers at Tiger Stadium after leading 14-0 but giving up key turnovers and missing red-zone shots.
