- ➤ Fayetteville Tea House, a new tea shop and cafe by locals Avalon Gurel and Alyssa Stockland, opened at 315 W. Center St. near Fayetteville Public Library. It offers teas, coffees, and matcha lattes and is open Tuesday-Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Fayetteville Flyer
- ➤ Walmart announced that Anthropologie, the first in the region, will open in spring 2026 on its Bentonville campus along 8th Street near Sweetgreen, Chipotle and Starbucks. 5 News

- ➤ Alan Mantooth, a Distinguished Professor at the U of A, has been named to the National Academy of Inventors’ 2025 class of fellows and will be inducted in June. He submitted 45 invention disclosures and earned 12 patents with designs that have flown on the International Space Station. University of Arkansas
