BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Freckled Hen, a Fayetteville gift shop at 1904 N. College Avenue, will close in mid-January after the holidays as owner Natalie Freeman said she needs more time with her family. The shop has served the community for several years. Fayetteville Flyer
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ University of Arkansas alumni and a student contributed $775,000 to the Land of Opportunity Scholarship campaign, a three-year effort to expand educational access, raise graduation rates and boost university-business ties statewide. As of Oct. 31, the campaign had raised 68% of its goal from pledges and commitments. NWA Business Journal
- ➤ Fayetteville City Council approved rezoning a College Avenue property Tuesday night for a new Ramay Junior High School + the district will now submit project plans to address concerns and may begin construction as early as May. 5 News
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ A developer plans a 324-unit apartment complex in south Fayetteville. Project timeline and design details have not been released. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ Arkansas announced Tuesday that first-year football coach Ryan Silverfield added Tim Cramsey as offensive coordinator, Ron Roberts as defensive coordinator, and Chad Lunsford as special teams coordinator.
