- ➤ Local organization Canopy will host the Immigrant Owned Business Expo from 6-8 p.m. today at the Walker Room at Fayetteville Public Library where recent Canopy entrepreneurship course graduates will showcase international cuisine and innovative products, with free snacks and drinks provided. - ➤ Fayetteville Animal Services announced it received $447,000 in bequests honoring donors who cared for animals and the community. The funds will improve care and comfort for shelter pets, according to Superintendent Justine Lentz. City of Fayetteville
- ➤ City and county representatives celebrated the $2.6M expansion of the Yvonne Richardson Community Center on Rock Street Wednesday at a ribbon cutting event. - ➤ The College of Education and Health Professions’ Molecular Muscle Mass Regulation lab hosted its first Tornado Alley Muscle Meeting on the U of A campus, where researchers and trainees shared new findings on exercise and aging. - ➤ Fayetteville was named a 2025 Trendsetter City by Arkansas Business this week for its forward-thinking projects that include the award-winning Ramble—a 50-acre park hosting events and community gatherings—and for integrating telematics into fleet operations; the awards will be presented at the 2026 Winter Conference in Little Rock.
