- ➤ Bentonville-based Heartland Forward released a report on Monday, March 17 showing that adding 275 medical residents over six years will bring $465 million in economic activity and help ease a doctor shortage. The study found that each new resident adds $482,000 a year — a cost-effective boost to the state’s health care system. NWA Business Journal

- ➤ On March 19th to 20th, the Latin American and Latino Studies Program will hold a two-day conference on Latinas/os and the U.S. South at Arkansas Union.
